The sitting room and dining
room are on the first floor - so that we could keep the fabulous
17x6m chestnut-beamed space intact. The dining area has a craftsman-built
oak dining table which can seat up to 14 people (ideal if you
are renting both cottages with family or friends) and is a
great place to enjoy long french-style meals! The large, comfortable
sitting room features a beautiful traditional Breton stone
fireplace with a wood burning stove - fantastic for relaxing
with a glass of wine and a book. Television, DVD, CD/Cassette
player and plenty of books and games are available.
The Farmhouse has 2 large bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin/double)
- the master bedroom has a Breton-style stone fireplace and wood-burning
stove so is cosy at any time of year. The house is centrally
heated (so it is great for a stay at any time of year)- including underfloor heating downstairs for the bedrooms,
kitchen and bathroom - with a plentiful supply of hot water for
the luxurious double-size shower.
The bright farmhouse kitchen features a range cooker and has a table to
seat six and is well-equipped with dishwasher and fridge-freezer and a
washing machine is also available. The farmhouse faces due south and has
a large terrasse area for your exclusive use with table and chairs for al fresco dining (a barbecue is available). |
